DVD AUTHORING

You can either supply your project as a finished DVD to us, or we can author it for you.

Basically, authoring is the process which takes the video files, and compiles them in a format which the DVD player can read. This can be as simple or as complex as you like.

The simplest form is a straight autoplay, which means your DVD will automatically play from start to finish when inserted into the player. This can be made more complex by adding menus and chapter points, which allow your end user to access the specified parts of the project directly. Even more complex are sub-title tracks and multi-language tracks – specially useful for those who deal with people of more than one nationality.
